This genuine DYMO part is a replacement character wheel for the Rhino M1011 metal embosser. It is the reverse version, meaning it embosses letters and numbers in mirror image, so the text reads correctly from the other side of the tape or when the tag is used for stamping.

The standard character wheel is a separate part. Character wheels also wear over time on a heavily used embosser, and fitting a new one is a cost-effective way to keep an existing tool in service rather than replacing it.
