Comparison pf the Socket Mobile Barcode Scanners for POS applications on iPad, Android, Windows PC's and Mac iOS

This article will help you to choose the right Socket Mobile barcode scanner for your needs and your application, and also explain the differences between the Socket Mobile scanner models.

In 2019 Socket Mobile release a new range of barcode scanners to replace their very successful range of handheld mobile Bluetooth barcode scanners.

The first thing to clarify is that you will need a Bluetooth connection on your device (PC / Mac / iPad / Android tablet) in order to connect the scanner via Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can insert a Bluetooth dongle into the PC or Mac USB port and connect the scanner to this Bluetooth dongle.

Also, you can rest assured that, when an application recommends a specific Socket scanner model as compatible with their iPad App, that any other barcode scanner in the Socket Mobile range will also work.

The Socket scanner mobile range is compatible with many applications, including Nobly POS, HIke POS, Vend POS, Kounta POS, Square POS, Cin7, Shopify POS, LoyVerse, LightSpeed POS, and many more

The Socket S700 series scanners are available in 5 colors
