Currently In Australia, UberEats is separate to the standard Uber app, but you can still use your normal Uber account to sign up. The move into food delivery will see Uber compete against other app-based delivery services such as MenuLog and Foodora. And while you'll still need to download a separate app to use the service, Uber is no doubt hoping brand recognition will get it across the line.
